Andrew Stewart Jamieson

me1After attending schools in the UK and the USA, Andrew opted to pursue a career in art and design and undertook a Pre B.A. Foundation Course at Salisbury College of Art and later studied on the unique Calligraphy, Heraldry and Illumination Course, at Reigate School of Art.

After Graduating with Honours in 1983 he became a freelance artist and designer taking on commissioned work in an array of fields from illustration to heraldic art, working for Her Majesty’s College of Arms, Her Majesty’s Crown Office, Pitkin publishers, Chrysalis Records, The Templeton Prize, The Order of Malta, Buckfast Abbey,  the Military,  City Livery Companies, Aquascutum, Ecco Shoes and numerous publishers, private collectors and Noble and Royal Houses around the world.

He is the Author and illustrator of the Pitkin Guide,  Coats of Arms published in 1997

He counts amongst his interests, Photography, Walking, Military History, Cooking, the dundee1History of the Highlands of Scotland, Bonnie Prince Charlie and listening to music. He currently divides his time  between the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland where he lives with his faithful dog, Bonnie Dundee and Tampa Bay, Florida.
